Wide receiver Brandon Inniss a top 2023 prospect for the Miami football program was dominant Battle Sports 7-on-7 according to Steve Wiltfong of 247 Sports. Inniss is the seventh-ranked player nationally and the top-ranked WR and player in Florida in the Class of 2023. Entering 2023, Miami will need to add a few WRs.

The Hurricanes will lose WR Mike Harley after the 2021 season and Mark Pope and Dee Wiggins after the 2021 or 2022 seasons. Pope and Wiggins are entering their fourth seasons in the Miami football program this fall. Miami signed three WRs in the Class of 2020 and four in the Class of 2021.

Barring transfers and early entrants into the NFL Draft Miami should have most of the seven WRs signed in the last two classes on their roster in 2023. Redshirt freshman Jeremiah Payton will also have eligibility remaining in 2023. Miami has offered 36 WRs in the Class of 2022 and 15 in the Class of 2023.

Lamar Seymore, the brother of 2021 Miami signee offensive lineman, Laurence Seymore, is the only Miami commit for 2023. Seymore is the only WR the Hurricanes have committed in the next two classes. With over 30 scholarship offers for Inniss, Miami will have intense competition nationally for the star wideout.

"“WR: Brandon Inniss, the Top247’s No. 1 receiver in the 2023 class, the Miami Gardens (Fla.) Tru Prep Academy was a touchdown machine for South Florida Express. Inniss gets behind the defense with ease, gets open in a variety of ways and has outstanding hands.Holding close to 30 offers, Inniss will be able to attend any powerhouse in the country.”"

Inniss plays for Tru Prep Academy in Miami Gardens about five miles from Hard Rock Stadium. Being able to sign Inniss for the Class of 2023, show that Miami head coach Manny Diaz and his staff continue to add the best players from South Florida. Diaz wants to bring back the State of Miami.

The Hurricanes signed the 11th ranked Class for 2021. With only two players committed for 2022, Miami currently ranks 25th. Seymore makes Miami one of only six programs with a commit for 2023. None of the programs are ranked yet according to Class. Inniss is a player to follow over the next two years.
