On Superbowl Sunday, the Miami football card for Hurricanes legend Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson sold at an auction for $45,000. In a caption posted to his social media accounts, Johnson was humbled by the sale. Johnson played at Miami in the early 1990s and was a backup defensive tackle on the 1991 National Championship team.
Following a short stint with the Calgary Stampeders in the Canadian Football League, Johnson became one of the biggest stars in the World Wrestling Federation.
