Bailey had an impressive career Miami with 107 tackles, 31 TFLs, 19.0 sacks, three pass breakups and two forced fumbles. After his impressive career with the Miami Hurricanes, Bailey was a third-round pick by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2011. Bailey spent the first eight years of his NFL career with Kansas City.

Bailey spent the last two years with the Atlanta Falcons before being cut in March. In 133 career games with 70 starts, Bailey has 248 tackles, 40 TFLs, 40 QB hits, 22 sacks and seven fumbles recoveries. All but 13 of the 70 career starts for Bailey came from 2014-18. Bailey started nine of the 31 games he played the last two seasons.

"93. DI ALLEN BAILEY A solid rotational defensive lineman since 2011, Bailey is coming off the lowest grade of his career at 50.9 overall. He did his best work in 2015 and has since graded above 60.0 twice. At this point in his career, Bailey is a depth piece along the defensive interior."

In the twilight of his career, Bailey can be a veteran presence for a team more than someone who will play a majority of the snaps. Bailey played less than half of the defensive snaps with Atlanta in each of his two seasons with the Falcons. Where Bailey signs for the 2021 season the same should be expected.

Bailey can still be a solid contributor. In 2020, Bailey had five QB hits and 1.5 sacks. The best situation for Bailey in 2021 would be to sign with a playoff contender who needs to add depth to the interior of the defensive line. All of the Miami Hurricanes alums are likely to be back on NFL rosters in the future.
