Three-star 2022 wide receiver Isaiah Bond a top target of the Miami football program is expected to commit to Florida on Sunday. Bond announced via Twitter on Saturday night that he will be making his commitment on Sunday night at 6 PM ET. Bond currently has two of his three crystal balls on 247 Sports projected to Florida.

Bond is close with four-star quarterback Jacurri Brown who is the only commit to Miami in the Class of 2022. Miami was thought to be leading for Bond before crystal balls from 247 Director of Football recruiting Steve Wiltfong and Blake Alderman of Swamp 247, the Florida 247 site projected him to the Gators this weekend.

Bond and Brown took an unofficial visit with the Miami football program in March. Shortly after that visit is when Brown committed to Miami. Alderman reported on Saturday that Florida offered Bond a scholarship last month. Bond is making his announcement on Sunday after visiting Gainesville this weekend.

Bond is known for his speed. The Buford, Georgia product ran a 10.59 second 100 meters this year and a 4.74 40-yard dash in 2020. Miami has 41 offers out to WRs for 2022. Eight WRs are strongly considering the Hurricanes according to 247. It will be difficult to project the Miami WR unit for 2022.

Charleston Rambo who transferred from Oklahoma during the offseason is entering his fifth season in college but has two years of eligibility remaining. Mike Harley is in his final season of eligibility and will move on following the 2021 season. Miami WRs Jeremiah Payton, Mark Pope and Dee Wiggins are all eligible for the 2022 NFL Draft.

Miami will have 12 scholarship WRs on the roster for 2021. The other seven will all have decisions to make. The reality is that the Hurricanes could lose WRs to the transfer portal before anyone commits or signs in the Class of 2022. Getting everyone snaps at WR in 2021 for Miami will be difficult.
