LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Oregon are high on the list for Medlock. The Sooners have all three crystal balls trending for Medlock. The Miami football program has some catching up to do after not offering Medlock until April. Medlock will take his official to Miami on June 11. The Hurricanes are Medlock’s most recent offer.

Three-star Kobe McCloud is the 810th ranked player, 26th ranked ILB and 116th ranked player in Florida out of Tampa Gaither. The Maryland and Miami football programs appear to be the two schools competing the strongest to receive a commitment from McCloud. McCloud has a third offer from Liberty who is a program on the rise.

Wesley Bissanthe from Miami Central is the top LB on the Hurricanes board and one of their most important recruits for 2022. Head coach Manny Diaz has frequently spoken about the importance of getting as many of the top players from South Florida as possible. Bissanthe is the 114th ranked player, seventh-ranked OLB and 14th in Florida.

Bissanthe was a Max Preps junior All-American in 2020 and first-team All-Dade County. Starting for the 6A State Champions, Bissanthe played with 2021 five-star Maryland signee Terrence Lewis.  Bissanthe is taking his official visit with Miami on June 18. Official visits with West Virginia and Penn State occur on the two prior weekends.
