Ten Miami football players were named All-ACC by Athlon on their 2021 All-Conference Team ahead of the release of their annual preview. The list is led by safety Bubba Bolden and punter Lou Hedley who were named to the first team. Bolden and Hedley both chose to return to Miami despite being eligible for the NFL Draft.

Bolden who led Miami with 74 tackles in 2020, was second-team All-ACC last season and a semifinalist for the Thorpe Award honoring the best defensive back in college football. Bolden also had 6.5 tackles for loss, one sack, one interception, three pass breakups and four forced fumbles in 2020.

Hedley was second-team All-ACC and all-American in 2020. Georgia Tech punter Presley Harvin earned first-team All-ACC and All-American. Harvin led the nation with a 48,2 average in 2020 with Hedley second at 47.12. Behind Hedley, Miami led the nation in 2020 with a 44.96 net punting average.

In addition to Bolden and Hedley on the first team, running back Cam’Ron Harris, wide receiver Mike Harley, offensive tackle Zion Nelson and denensive tackle Nesta Jade Silvera were named to the second team and quarterback D’Eriq King and cornback Tyrique Stevenson were named to the third team.
