The Miami Hurricanes received a commit from 2022 three-star wide receiver Quan Lee on Wednesday. The Miami WR corps could be in transition entering the 2022 season. Five WRs on the Miami roster entering the 2021 season will be eligible for the 2022 NFL Draft. Mike Harley is the only one definitely gone after 2021.
Harley is entering his final season of eligibility in 2021. Oklahoma transfer Charleston Rambo, Mark Pope and Dee Wiggins have two seasons of eligibility remaining and Jeremiah Payton has four. Payton is in the odd position of having four seasons of eligibility remaining and also being eligible for the 2022 NFL Draft.
All 2020-21 athletes were granted an extra season of eligibility by the NCAA due to COVID-19. Miami will have seven other WRs on their roster with eligibility beyond 2021. Miami returns 2020 signees Michael Redding III, Keyshawn Smith, Xavier Restrepo and Daz Worsham and signed three WRs in the Class of 2021.
Romello Brinson, Jacolby George and Breshard Smith add an infusion of talent to the Miami football roster in 2021. The last to two signing classes have enabled Miami to be comfortable at WR for the next few years at WR. Offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee and WR coach Rob Likens should feel confident through 2022.

The Miami Hurricanes had the third most talent in the ACC in 2020 according to the 247 Sports composite rankings. Clemson and Florida State were the only programs ahead of the Hurricanes. The rankings have not been assessed by position. The infusion of talent for Miami at WR will help the Hurricanes passing game.
Lee is listed at 6’0 175 pounds with a rating of 0.8628. He would be the lowest-rated WR on the Miami roster behind second-year player Keyshawn Smith. Like Smith, Lee is expected to add speed to the Miami passing game. Lee has been recorded running 11.16 100 meters. Miami might add another WR for 2022.
