The Miami football program has its third big weekend of recruits visiting beginning on Friday. Six four-star prospects and three three-star prospects are visiting Miami this weekend. Seven of the recrruits are strongly considering Miami, one currently has his recruitment wide open, another is committed to Arkansas.

Seven of the prospects that will be in Coral Gables this weekend play defense with the other two on offense. The group will also feature two cornerbacks, two defensive linemen, one linebacker, one offensive tackle, two safeties and one wide receiver. Linebacker Wesley Bissainthe and CB Khamauri Rogers lead the visitors.

Bissainthe and Rogers both have crystal balls from 247 Sports that projected they will eventually commit to the Miami football program. Rogers and Scottsdale Chapparal defensive lineman Anthony Lucas are the highest ranked players visiting Miami this weekend. Lucas will be a difficult recruitment.

Six players are scheduled to visit Miami next weekend. Two DL, two OTs a LB and tight end will visit Miami next weekend. The Hurricanes currently have commitments four-star quarterback Jacuarri Brown and three-star wide receiver Quan Lee is the Class of 2021. Halfway through June, more commitments could occur soon.

Bissainthe and Rogers will be the key prospects this weekend. Without a commitment on defense, if Miami can gain a commitment from either or both Bissainthe and Rogers, that can help the 2022 Class build momentum. A few players from the group this weekend could eventually commit to the Miami football program.
