Why does Miami only have four 2022 commits?
Many of the questions above apply to what the expectations are for Miami from Diaz entering the 2021 season. With only four players committed for 2022, expect the Hurricanes head coach to field questions about why Miami has such a small class compared to their rivals. There are five months until Early National Signing Day.
Expect Diaz to answer that recruiting classes are not made in July. Miami did not have its two best signees at this point last year. Five-star safety James Williams commited a year to the date on Wednesday and defensive tackle Leonard Taylor commited August 6, 2021. There is a lot of time remaining in the 2022 recruiting cycle.

New defensive coaching staff
The turnover of the defensive staff is likely be a major focus for the media speaking with Diaz. Assimilating four new coaches on defense is a challenge for Diaz and a staff still creating the cutlture for the Miami football program. The addition of Robinson provides Miami with four former coordinators on their staff.
Alabama
Only one word is neccessary for the 2021 Miami season opener. Diaz will be asked about how Miami is preparing for the defending national champions. Miami has an entire season to prepare for when training camp starts in the next few weeks. Playing Alabama in the season opener is obviously a huge challenge.
Best QB in the land? Yeah we're rocking with our guy.
