Miami Hurricanes most important wide receiver Charleston Rambo

The addition of Charleston Rambo at WR from Oklahoma is expected to open up the Miami passing game in 2021. Mike Harley was exceptional for the Hurricanes in 2020, but Rambo is the most important WR for Miami in 2021 because of his ability to stretch the field. Miami did not have a consistent deep threat in 2020.

Harley led Miami WRs who played significantly in 2020 averaging 14.0 yards per reception. Rambo has a 15.5 YPR average for his career and a high of 17.3 two seasons ago for the Sooners. Harley was clutch in 2020 for Miami with seven TDs. Rambo has nine career TD receptions. Miami needs both to be big-play WRs in 2021.

Rambo also brings experience to the Miami football team to team with Harley to become leaders in the WR unit. In 2018 and 2019 with Oklahoma, Rambo played in the college football playoff. The experience Rambo gained playing in the biggest games in college football for OU can only help him be a leader with Miami.

As with King, Harley and Rambo can help set the culture for the Miami WR room beyond their departures after the 2021 season. Rambo has experience no one else on the Hurricanes has. The Miami offense can reach another level if Rambo lives up to the expectations placed upon him for the Hurricanes.
