Miami football top prospect Shemar Stewart new website includes Hurricanes

Five-star defensive end Shemar Stewart dropped his top-five programs he is considering signing with on Thursday. Coinciding with that announcment was Stewart promoting his website OfficialShermarStewart.Com. The new website includes pictures of Stewart wearing a Miami football uniform.

The Stewart website is made up of subheadings, biography, Top Five, news, media and contract information and  links to his instagram and twitter accounts to the right of the subheadings. In addition to Miami, Stewart is considering Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State and Texas A&M. Miami, Ohio State and Texas A&M are favored.

Stewart is not expected to make his commitment public until Early National Signing Day or near then. The news section is where Stewart is pictrured wearing  in Georgia, LSU,   in Georgia, Ohio State and Miami football uniforms. The LSU Tigers were clearly elimated and replace by the Clemson Tigers and Texas A&M.

Stewart is the eighth ranked player, third ranked defensive lineman and number one prospect in Florida for 2022 according to the 247 sports composite rankings. Miami currently holds three 247 crystal balls for Stewart, but with a confidence score of three out of 10. Stewart took four unoffical visits to Miami this summer.

Expect the website for Stewart to become part of a growing trend in college football. Stewart’s coach at Monsignor Pace Moe Marquez told Steve Wiltfong of 247 that he had a logo with the name, image and likeness of Stewart made for the website. NIL deals will allow prospects to promote themsevles more freely.

Per Florida high school regulations Stewart cannot profit off of the website. Marquez told Wiltfong the site is currently for informative purposes. The visits Stewart takes and pictures will be posted on the website. Stewart also plans to attend events and non-profit appearances to help the local community.

The website provides Stewart a good head start once he signs a National Letter of Intent. College bound athletes will be able to begin profiting off of their own name image and likeness before they reside on campus. As one of the most recognizable college football prospects, Stewart getting the website created was inventive .
