The Miami football game at North Carolina on October 16 will kick off at 3:30 PM on ESPN, ESPN2, or the ACC Network. The 3:30 PM window will provide a national audience. Expect the game to be televised on ESPN or ESPN2. Despite both teams’ struggles, Miami at North Carolina is still a marquee ACC game.

If the Miami football game against North Carolina is on ESPN or ESPN2 it will be the second straight game on the mothership or the deuce. Miami lost 30-28 to Virginia on Thursday night on ESPN. In week three the Hurricanes lost 38-17 to Michigan State on ABC. Miami played on regional sports networks including Bally Sports Florida and Sun against Central Connecticut State. The remainder of the 2021 Miami football schedule has not been determined with kickoff times or television networks.

North Carolina began the season against Virginia Tech on ESPN. The Tar Heels have had two games on the ACC Network, one on ESPN 2 and another televised via regional sports networks this season. North Carolina has a 3:30 kickoff against Florida State on Saturday on ESPN. The Tar Heels are 3-2 overall, 2-2 in the ACC.

The Tar Heels have won 10 of the 18 meetings against the Hurricanes in ACC games. A loss would almost definitely eliminate Miami in the ACC Coastal.
