Season-ending injuries have been well documented for the Miami football team throughout the 2021 season. Earlier this week Miami head coach Manny Diaz reported that backup wide receiver Michael Redding III. Redding had just one reception for three yards this season and three for 19 in 2020.
Other notables Miami is still missing beyond the well-known starters out for the season includes linebacker Sam Brooks who only recorded four tackles against Central Connecticut State in 2021. Diaz also mentioned in a zoom meeting on Wednesday that Brooks is still out because of a lingering toe injury.
