Miami Hurricanes quarterback Tyler Van Dyke earned his third consecutive ACC Rookie of the Week award and wide receiver Charleston Rambo was also honored for his performance in the 33-30 win over Georgia Tech on Saturday. Van Dyke and Rambo are both pushing for postseason ACC awards.

Van Dyke is making a strong push for ACC Rookie of the Year. The second-year freshman completed 22 passes in 34 attempts for 389 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions on Saturday. Van Dyke has completed 63.6 percent of his passes for 1,877 yards, 9.6 per attempt with 15 TDs and four interceptions.

Rambo had seven receptions for 210 yards and a TD against Georgia Tech. Only Eddie Brown against Boston College in 1984 with 220 receiving yards had more for the Miami Hurricanes in a single game. Rambo is on pace to set the Miami single-season reception record. Leonard Hankerson had 72 receptions in 2012.

Rambo has 58 receptions for 859 yards and five TDs this season after transferring from Oklahoma. Four times this season Rambo has exceeded 100 yards receiving and he had 99 against Virginia. Rambo has already set career highs in receptions and receiving yards and tied his career-high in TD receptions.
