Miami got off to good starts in wins against North Carolina State, Pittsburgh and Georgia Tech and made key plays in the fourth quarter to secure victory. The Hurricanes took a 14-3 lead in the second quarter before the Wolfpack rallied to take a 17-14 lead at halftime. The lead changed three times in the second half.
