After a day off at the ESPN Invitational in Kississimee near Orlando, the Miami basketball team will play Alabama on Sunday night. Miami rallied from a 12 point halftime deficit on Friday to defeat North Texas 69-63 to improve to 4-2. The Hurricanes bounced back after a poor performance versus Dayton on Thursday.

Alabama defeated Drake 80-71 on Friday after a shocking 72-68 loss to Rick Pitino and Iona in their tournament opener on Thursday. The ESPN Invitational has the unlikely final on Saturday of Belmont against Dayton. Miami rallied against North Texas behind its backcourt of Kameron McGusty, Charlie Moore and Isaiah Wong.

Wong led the Hurricanes with 21 points versus the Mean Green, McGusty had 18 and Moore 16. Alabama is the first top 10 team Miami will play since the Hurricanes ended a 33-game Florida home-court winning streak in 2014. The Crimson Tide is currently ranked 10 in the Associated Press Top 25.
