Four-star linebacker Wesley Bissainthe a major target for the Miami football program will announce his college decision on Saturday. The finalists for Bissainthe are Florida, Florida, State, Miami, Penn State and West Virginia. Bissainthe will make his announcement on CBS Sports HQ at 5 PM et.

Two of the three crystal balls and the most recent for Bissinathe project him to commit to Florida State. The Miami football program holds the other crystal ball for Bissainthe, but that was predicted in February. Rivals.Com projects Bissainthe to commit to Miami. Florida and Miami have coaching staffs in transition.

The Gators recently hired Billy Napier from Louisiana to replace Dan Mullen who was fired last month. Manny Diaz has an uncertain future with the Miami football program. Speculation is that a decision on the future for Diaz could come this weekend. Oregon head coach Mario Cristobal could potentially replace Diaz.

The Ducks play in the Pac 12 Championship Game on Friday night. A decision from Cristobal could come sometime this weekend between him and Miami regarding his coaching future. It remains to be seen how any change in the Miami coaching staff could affect a decision from Bissainthe. Miami currently only has eight 2022 commits.

Bissainthe is the 196th ranked player, 20th ranked LB and 23rd in Florida in the Class of 2022. Miami needs to make significant upgrades at LB. Per multiple reports, the entire Miami defense staff visited Bissainthe this weekend. Bissainthe would be the first South Florida commit for Miami in the Class of 2022.

Three-star commit Justin Medlock is the only LB Miami currently has in the Class of 2022. Miami is expected to return all of their LBs for 2022 except for graduating striker Amari Carter. Linebackers Corey Flagg and Waymon Steed lead Miami in tackles this season. Miami signed three LBs in the Class of 2021.
