What a week it has been. The Miami Hurricanes once again have provided one of the most insanely hectic Decembers ever. Despite finishing the season winning five out of six games and watching this team fighting pretty hard the fan base seemed to be focusing on the negatives.

The buzz on social media was change. Miami Hurricanes fans already knew the AD position was in need of a permanent replacement. By pure chance, I happened to be going to the Miami versus Clemson basketball game last Saturday at noon.

My youngest son loves basketball so we made the drive to Coral Gables for a fun afternoon of watching the Miami basketball team battle. Of course, who could have predicted that the same weekend Miami might be trying to hire Dan Radakovich who at the time was the Clemson athletic director?

Miami hired Radakoich as their new AD on Thursday. This would be a huge score for Miami Hurricanes Athletics. A proven Athletic Director who is extremely highly regarded by the NCAA and easily one top ADs in the country.

As much fun as the game was to watch, I was trying to see if Clemson was going to lose more than just a basketball game that day. It turned out to take a few days longer but ultimately Miami scored another win at the expense of  Clemson this week. That and in and of itself would create for a fun and drama-filled week.

Between a Canes basketball team beating Clemson with a wonderful come from behind victory and hiring Radakovich Miami scored another historic addition. Many fans had opinions on the head coach. Most of the sentiment was very negative towards Manny Diaz and in all honesty, I felt that was a little unfair.
