Charleston Rambo has been named the third-best power five wide receiver by 247 Sports. Rambo set Miami Hurricanes single-season records with 79 receptions and 1,172 receiving yards while adding seven touchdowns after transferring from Oklahoma during the 2021 offseason. Rambo had the best season by a Miami WR.

Quarterback Tyler Van Dyke relied on Charleston Rambo as a key downfield threat for Miami in 2021. Rambo had 43 receptions that went for first downs, 29 of 15 or more yards and 16 for 25 yards or more. Led by Rambo and Van Dyke Miami is 10th nationally averaging 321.1 passing yards per game.

After being on the roster at Oklahoma for four seasons, Rambo became the alpha receiver for Miami in 2021. The Hurricanes threw downfield frequently this season with the big arm of Van Dyke and the ability for Rambo to get open deep. Rambo finished the season with six 100 yard games.

Five of the 100-yard games came in the final six weeks of the regular season. Florida State was the only Miami opponent to hold Rambo under 100 yards in the final half of the season. Rambo still had six receptions for 95 yards against the Seminoles. Rambo was summarized by 247 Sports.

Fifth-year senior Mike Harley and Rambo mentored an otherwise young Miami WR corps. Keyshawn Smith started alongside Harley and Rambo and Xavier Restrepo made several big plays this season. Restrepo will replace Harley in the slot and Smith is the heir to Rambo as the big play Miami receiver in 2022.
