The Miami basketball team returns home attempting to break a two-game losing streak. Miami is 16-7 overall and 8-4, tied for fourth in the ACC with North Carolina. Georgia Tech who the Hurricanes defeated 73-62 in Atlanta last month travels to Coral Gables on Wednesday night.

Georgia Tech had three players in double figures in the last meeting. Khalid Moore led the Yellow Jackets with 19 points. Miami held Georgia Tech leading scorer Michael Devoe to 12 points on four of 11 shooting. The difference in the game is that Miami shot 21 of 25 from the free-throw line while Georgia Tech was three of 10.

Miami versus Georgia Tech Prediction Today

Georgia Tech travels to Miami following a 69-64 victory over Clemson on Saturday. Prior to that, the Yellow Jackets lost two in a row. Miami needs to be more consistent offensively. The Hurricanes shot 54 percent on Saturday in their loss at Virginia but made only four of 17 three-point attempts.

After the last two games, Miami should be able to win, but Georgia Tech keeps it close and covers the eight points. The inconsistencies of both offenses means the game likely goes under the 141.5 points. Miami needs production from McGusty, Charlie Moore and Isaiah Wong against Georgia Tech.
