Rising fourth-year junior Isaiah Wong tweeted his intention to enter the 2022 NBA Draft while leaving open the option to return to the Miami basketball program next season. Wong will be able to return to Miami if he does not sign with an agent. After the 2020-21 season Wong also entered the NBA Draft but returned to Miami.

Pack signed a $400,000 deal with the potential for $800,000 with Miami booster John Ruiz and his company Life Wallet if he stays two years with Miami. If Wong returns, he and Pack with provide Miami with potentially one of the best backcourts in the country. Wong averaged 15.2 points per game and 4.3 rebounds in 2021-22.
Wong would be the leading returning scorer for Miami. Miami also returns rising sophomore guards Bensley Joseph and Wooga Poplar plus Jakai Robinson who will be a redshirt freshman.
