The Miami football program has a group of diverse and elite visitors taking official visits to Coral Gables this weekend. Previously the defensive players taking official visits to Coral Gables this weekend were examined.  Miami has a Quarterback, tight end, wide receiver visiting this weekend.

There are a few players on the list who have discrepancies in their visits between 247 Sports and On3, two of the main recruiting sites. Both 247 Sports and On3.Com have quarterback Emory Williams and tight ends Riley Williams and Logan Howland listed as taking official visits to Coral Gables this weekend.

Wide receivers Raymond Cottrell and Colbie Young are also expected to visit Coral Gables this weekend according to 247 Sports. Cottrell is a teammate of Emory Williams in Milton, Florida. The Miami football program does not have a QB commit for 2023. The Hurricanes have two WRs committed for 2023.

Four-star tight end Riley Williams is the second-highest-rated prospect visiting the Miami football program this weekend. Williams averages the 63rd ranked player, second TE and the top player in Oregon in the Class of 2023. There are no crystal balls for Williams, but On3. projects him to commit to Oregon at 84.7 percent.

The recruitment of Williams could become complicated. Miami received a commitment from three-star TE Jackson Carver earlier this week. Three-star Reid Mikeska is expected to announce his commitment soon between Miami and Oklahoma. It would be unusual for Miami to take three TEs.

Emory Williams could be the sole QB in the 2023 Miami class. Four-star QB Jaden Rashada who is considering Miami will announce his commitment publically on June 26. Rashada is considering taking an official visit to Miami before next week. Miami is a longshot for Rashada at this point.

Miami is listed as the trending program for Emory Williams by 247 Sports, but there is not a crystal ball logged for him yet. The On3 projection for Williams has the three-star QB trending to Miami at 77.8 percent. This weekend will be the first official visit for Williams. Indiana, Pittsburgh and South Florida have also offered Williams.

Cottrell has been committed to Georgia since November 2021. Earlier this month, Cottrell took official visits to Georgia and Texas A&M. The 247 Sports composite rankings have Cottrell as the 101st player, 15th WR and 20th in Florida for 2023. Miami currently has Robby Washington and Lamar Seymour as 2023 WR commits.

Howland is the 573rd ranked player, 50th OT and 10th in New Jersey in the Class of 2023. The On3 prediction machine projects Howland with an 80.3 percent chance to commit to Michigan. Miami currently has interior offensive lineman Antonio Tripp and tackle Frankie Tinilau committed for 2023 upfront.

Colbie Young is a 6’4, 220-pound WR from Lackawanna Community College in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The 247 Sports profile on Young lists him as strongly considering Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech with Miami. Young took an official visit to Pittsburgh earlier this month. A decision reportedly could be coming soon.

With only six commits for 2023, the Miami class is small and currently ranked 42nd nationally by 247 Sports. With June visits wrapping up next weekend before another period begins. With Mario Cristobal as the head coach, Miami should be expected to sign another class ranked in the top 15 for 2023.
