Jaden Rashada the fifth-ranked quarterback in the 247 Sports composite rankings will announce his college commitment live on CBS Sports HQ on Sunday afternoon at 4 PM eastern time per Brandon Huffman of 247 Sports. All seven crystal balls on 247 Sports project Rashada to commit to the Miami football program.

Miami already has a commitment from three-star QB Emory Williams for 2023. Rashada was originally supposed to announce his commitment on June 18. The delay in the commitment date occurred with Rashada visiting Miami this week. Rashada is the second-highest-rated uncommitted QB behind Dante Moore of Detroit.

Miami is competing with Florida, LSU, Ole Miss and Texas A&M for a commitment from Rashada. A commitment from Rashada would move the 2023 Miami recruiting class from 42nd to 31st between Purdue and Wisconsin. Miami should continue to move up in the standings in the next week.

Riley Williams, the second-ranked tight end for 2023 is expected to commit to Miami on July 1. A commitment from Rashada and Williams would move Miami to 19th ranked class between TCU and Iowa. Four-star edge rusher Jaxon Howard who is also strongly considering Miami has another July 1 commitment date.

A commitment from Rashada would be the fourth year in a row for a top 20 QB for Miami. Tyler Van Dyke was the seventh-ranked pro-style QB in 2020, Jake Garcia was the eighth-ranked QB In 2021 and Jacurri Brown 17th in 2022. Rashada would be the highest-rated commit in the 2023 Miami recruiting class.

Rashada would be the second highest-rated QB commit in the ACC. Christopher Vizzina to Clemson who is the sixth-ranked QB in the Class of 2023 is the highest. Rashada would become the highest-rated QB on the Miami roster slightly ahead of Garcia. Rashada is rated at 0.9796 and Garcia at 0.9761.
