Four-star WR Nathaniel Joseph projected commiting to Miami football Tuesday
Four-star wide receiver Nathaniel Joseph who is trending to the Miami football program will announce his commitment on Tuesday night at 6 PM ET. Joseph made the announcement via Twitter on Monday night. Louisville is the other program Joseph is strongly considering per his 247 Sports profile.
Five 247 Sports crystal balls project Joseph to commit to Miami. All five of those crystal balls were logged in the last two weeks. There is an 87.5 percent chance for Joseph to commit to Miami per 247 Sports. The 247 Sports composite rankings have Joseph as the 105th best player, 16 WR and 22nd prospect in Florida for 2023.
A commitment from Joseph would follow the pledge from four-star quarterback Jaden Rashada to Miami on Sunday. After moving up to 35th with the commitment from Rashada, Miami would vault to 24th in the 2023 recruiting rankings with a Joseph commit. Joseph would be the second WR committed to Miami for 2023.
Joseph had 33 receptions for 632 yards and five touchdowns for Miami Edison last season. Miami currently has a commitment from four-star athlete Robby Washington who they project as a WR in college. Joseph would be the second-ranked Miami commit for 2023 behind Reshada and just ahead of Washington.
Miami offensive coordinator and WR coach Josh Gattis led the recruitment of Joseph. The new Miami coaching staff reportedly led to Joseph de-committing from Clemson after the previous Hurricanes’ coaches reportedly did not show as much interest in him. Joseph could be the first of many Miami commits in the next week.
Four-star tight end Riley Williams will announce his commitment on Friday, July 1 and is expected to commit to the Miami football program. Edge rusher Jaxon Howard and offensive lineman Francis Mauigoa are other prospects strongly considering Miami who will announce their commitments in the next week.
Howard will commit on Friday and Mauigoa on July 4. There are no crystal balls logged for Howard of Mauigoa. Commitments from Joseph and Williams would push Miami into the top 20. Mario Cristobal and his staff have had an extremely productive June of offical visits that should turn into multiple commitments.
