Miami Hurricanes quarterback Tyler Van Dyke is ranked 25th by ESPN in their article “College football’s top 100 players for 2022: Will Anderson Jr., Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud and more.” Tyler Van Dyke is ranked the sixth-best QB overall and third in the ACC. No other Miami player was chosen in the top 100.

Alabama outside linebacker Will Anderson is the top-rated 2022 college football player. Crimson Tide QB Bryce Young the defending Heisman Trophy winner is second on the list. North Carolina State QB Devin Leary is 19th and Sam Hartman of Wake Forest is 21st. Miami does not play NC State or Wake Forest in 2022.

Clemson defensive tackle Bryan Bresee who is 13th in the highest ranked player Miami play against this season. Bresee is the highest-ranked player in the ACC. Tyler Van Dyke is the sixth highest ranked player in the ACC. Virginia QB Brennan Armstrong who led the ACC in passing in 2021 is a noticeable omission from the list.

The ACC will be the conference to watch this season for QBs. Whoever is named All-ACC at QB will have earned it this season. Van Dyke will be tested by tough defenses this season topped by Clemson and Texas A&M. Clemson and Texas A&M were second and third nationally in scoring defense in 2021.
