North Carolina at Miami football versus Prediction Week 6
The Miami football team will need to improve drastically to defeat North Carolina. Miami allowed four plays of at least 69 yards in the loss to Middle Tennessee State. North Carolina has one of the best offenses in the country and the ability to consistently make big plays. The over/under is an extremely high play.
Only two of the four Miami games this season have exceeded 62.5 points. The first four North Carolina games this season exceeded 62.5 points with three of those going significantly over. The flip side of North Carolina having an elite offense is their defense is one of the lowest ranked nationally.
North Carolina was able to shut down Virginia Tech last week. Miami should be able to score more than Virginia Tech, but injuries will play a factor. The Hurricanes could be without their top two running backs, two wide receivers and second-team TE. Offensive coordinator Josh Gattis will need a creative game plan.
