Miami needs to get off to a good start. During its three-game losing streak, the Hurricanes have been outscored 34-6. including taking a 3-0 lead versus Southern Mississippi after one quarter, Miami has not scored a TD in the opening 15 minutes versus a 2022 Power Five opponent. Miami needs a strong start versus Virginia Tech.
