Miami is 2-3 at home this season and 2-1 on the road. Miami will have the first and almost definitely only sellout at Hard Rock Stadium this season.
The Hurricanes lead the all-time series with the Seminoles 35-31. Florida State ended a four-game losing streak to Miami last season. Prior to the Hurricanes’ four-game streak, Florida State won seven in a row in the series. Miami has not lost at home to Florida State since 2016. The Gameday crew is unanimous in its picks.

The Miami football program has to earn respect. Mario Cristobal and his staff have somewhat done that with the eighth-ranked 2023 recruiting class. Miami lost to Texas A&M and North Carolina in games in the spotlight earlier this season. The Miami losses to Middle Tennessee State and Duke were embarrassing.
Miami can make a statement with a win over Florida State on Saturday night. Florida State has a chance to clinch a bowl berth with a win. Miami needs two more wins this season to become bowl eligible. The win over Florida State would be at least equal with any bowl Miami could play in this season.
