Desmond Howard doesn’t like Miami football effort and Gameday picks
The ESPN Gameday crew picked the Florida State at Miami football game on Saturday while in Athens for the Tennessee at Georgia game. The Miami football program has to earn respect. Mario Cristobal and his staff have somewhat done that with the eighth-ranked 2023 recruiting class. Miami lost to Texas A&M and North Carolina in games in the spotlight earlier this season. The Miami losses to Middle Tennessee State and Duke were embarrassing.

Miami can make a statement with a win over Florida State on Saturday night. Florida State has a chance to clinch a bowl berth with a win. Miami needs two more wins this season to become bowl eligible. The win over Florida State would be at least equal with any bowl Miami could play in this season.
