The Miami football team hopes to create a winning streak for the first time in two months when they host Florida State on Saturday. Miami has not won two in a row since the first two games of the season. The Hurricanes have won two of their last three games following a 14-12 win at Virginia last week.
Florida State ended a three-game losing streak with a 41-16 win over Georgia Tech last week. The Seminoles ended a four-game losing streak to Miami last season with a 31-28 win in Tallahassee. Miami has not lost to Florida State at Hard Rock Stadium since 2016. Miami enters Saturday’s game with three straight home losses.
The Miami football team has not lost four straight home games since 1974. Florida State is a 7.5-point favorite via Fan Duel with the total at 52.5. Miami has not covered in the last seven games. The Hurricanes have yet to cover the point spread versus an FBS team this season. Florida State is 5-3 versus the spread in 2022.

Van Dyke is the most likely to play of the Miami players on the injured list. Miami head coach Mario Cristobal said during the week that Van Dyke was improving.
