Miami football signees five-star offensive lineman Samson Okunlola and four-stars, edge rusher Jayden Wayne, linebacker Malik Bryant, wide receiver Nathaniel Joseph and running back Mark Fletcher will compete in the All-American Bowl on Saturday at the Alamodome in San Antonio with a 1 PM Eastern time kickoff on NBC.

Okunlola is the highest-rated of the All-American Bowl participants. In the 247 Sports composite rankings, Okunlola is the 20th prospect, third OT and the top player in Massachusetts. Gabe Brooks of 247 Sports praised Okunlola as one of the top performers during practice on Wednesday quoted below.

Tacoma native Wayne will compete against his future teammates Fletcher, Joseph and Okunlola. Wayne transferred to IMG Academy in Bradenton for his senior season where he played with several other Miami signees. Combined with the Under Armour All-American game, eight Miami football signees are participating in All-Star games.

Cooper Petagna of 247 Sports reported on Tuesday that Bryant suffered what he termed as a lower extremity injury and his status for Saturday was unknown. Petagna praised Okunoloa for being further along in his development than previously thought. Fletcher was praised as big, bruising and nimble in the open field.

"“Similar to the West’s Kadyn Proctor, Okunlola looks like a potential ready-to-play option once he arrives on campus. He’s a punchy assailant at the point of attack with anvil-dropping sit-down ability to stone pass rushers in 1-on-1 reps. His huge base and long arms make him a high-ceiling pass protector.”"

Joseph caught a touchdown pass down the middle of the stream from UCLA signee Dante Moore per Steve Wiltfong the Director of Recruiting for 247 Sports. Wiltfong said Joseph is a guy that will be an instant impact player, one of the biggest game-breakers in San Antonio and anytime he touches the ball he’s a threat to score.
