The 11.5-point spread is big for any ACC game. Miami is 1-5 versus the spread this season when favored by at least 11.5 points. Boston College is 6-3 versus the spread this season as an underdog winning four of those games outright. Ten of the 15 Miami games have gone under the total this season.

Eight Boston College games have exceeded the total this season. Seven of the last nine games have exceeded the total. Those numbers contradict Miami wanting a high pace of play. The best bet is likely to take Boston College with the points and the under. Wednesday is the only meeting this season between B.C. and Miami.
