The Miami Hurricanes basketball team will host Boston College on Wednesday night in its first game in a week. The football staff is still working on recruiting transfers while 2024 prospects are beginning to name their top schools and the 2023 schedule. Miami finalized its 2023 football schedule against Bethune-Cookman.

The Miami basketball team has been off since last Wednesday when they lost at Georgia Tech. Miami returns home where they have not lost a game this season. The Hurricanes’ only other loss was against Maryland in the Hall of Fame Classic in Connecticut. Miami is 13-2 overall and 4-1 in the ACC tied for second place.

The Miami basketball and football programs have been mentioned as top schools recruits are considering per On3. Four-star point guard Elijah Moore named Miami as one of the top five programs he is considering with  Alabama, Arkansas, Oklahoma State, and Syracuse. Several football recruits named Miami in their finalists.

Four-star offensive tackle Josiah Thompson named Miami as one of his top six with Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee. Five-star defensive tackle Justin Scott also named Miami as one of his finalists. The line of scrimmage continues to be a main focus for Mario Cristobal and his staff.

The Miami football team finalized its schedule on Tuesday. Bethune-Cookman will play at Miami for the second straight year per the Miami Herald. No date has been set, but Miami has three non-conference games already scheduled versus Miami (Ohio) on September 2, Texas A&M September 9 and at Temple on September 23.
