The 17th-ranked Miami basketball team will play at unranked Duke on Saturday. Miami is 15-3 overall and 5-2 in a four-way tie for second place in the ACC. Duke is 13-5 overall and 4-3 in ninth place in the ACC under first-year head coach Jon Scheyer. Miami won 83-79 versus Syracuse in its last game on Monday.

Duke is huge with all five starters 6’5 or taller. Filipowski at 7’0 and Young at 6’10 will be matchups problems for Miami. The Hurricanes have to use their speed and athleticism to their advantage. Miami guard Isaiah Wong enters the game as the sixth leading scorer in the ACC averaging 16.72 points per game. Flipowski is 15th in the ACC in scoring. Norchad Omier will have another tough challenge in the low post. Omier is third in the ACC in rebounding despite being 6’7. Filipowski is sixth in the ACC in rebounding.
Miami has plenty of options offensively with Jordan Miller, Nijel Pack, Omier and Wong all averaging in double figures. Filipowski is the only Duke starter averaging in double figures. Miami is third in the ACC averaging 78.39 PPG while Duke is ninth at 72.22. Expect Miami to push the pace.

In what should be a close game, expect the total to go over and Miami to cover the 4.5 points.
