Speaking to Canes Sports, 2024 quarterback Luke Moga said the Miami Hurricanes and “Coach Cristobal is trying to get his new offensive coordinator, is still searching for his offensive coordinator and said that should come in the next week or so…So once that happens I’ll build that relationship and see where it goes.”

Speculation about the status of current Miami offensive coordinator Josh Gattis has run rampant in recent weeks. Most media that cover the Miami football program have discussed the future of Gattis. The consensus opinions and reports back up the comments that Moga made to CaneSport.

The Miami Hurricanes football program has been busy sending out offers to class of 2024 prospects recently. Traditional National Signing Day is Wednesday. Miami is not expected to sign anyone next week, but never count out Mario Cristobal closing late. The Hurricanes signed running back Tre’Vonte Citizen in February 2022.

Multiple websites and 2024 prospects throughout social media have reported on offers sent out from the Miami football staff. According to the 247 Sports database Miami has sent out 237 2024 offers. Kicker Abram Murray is the only 2024 commit to Miami. The Hurricanes staff was busy evaluating prospects at the Battle Miami.

The Miami women’s basketball team dominated Boston College after falling behind 30-19. Miami outscored Boston College 67-35 the rest of the way to earn an 86-65 win. The Hurricanes won for the sixth time in the last seven games. Miami exploded in the third quarter to a 31-15 edge led by Haley Cavinder with 10 in the stanza.

The Hurricanes continued to pull away in the fourth quarter with an 18-9 advantage. Destiny Harder led four Miami players in double figures with 23 points. Harden was 6-14 from the floor made 11-16 free throws and added seven rebounds and seven steals. Miami improved to 13-7 overall and 6-3 tied for fourth in the ACC.

David Lake and Gaby Urrutia discussed the 2024 Miami football prospects early this week on the Inside the U Through the Smoke podcast. Miami is in the running, but a long shot for Chicago defensive tackle Justin Scott and cornerback Ellis Robinson who are five-star 2024 prospects committing next week.

Georgia is trending for Robinson and Notre Dame for Scott per their On3 profiles. Robinson is the 13th ranked prospect, top CB and sixth player in Florida out of IMG Academy. Robinson was teammates with four 2023 Miami signees. Miller is the 18th prospect, fourth defensive lineman and top prospect in Illinois.
