The Miami basketball team will attempt to win its fourth straight game when they host woeful Louisville on Saturday night. Louisville has already set the program record with 21 losses and seven regular season games plus at least one in the ACC Tournament remaining. Pittsburgh beat Louisville 91-57 on Tuesday.
Miami won its last game 81-59 at Duke on Monday night. The Hurricanes are slowly moving up the NCAA Tournament projections. Joe Lunardi of ESPN and Jerry Palm of CBS Sports both project Miami to be a five seed next month. Miami was a 10 seed when they advance to the first Elite Eight in program history in 2022.
Louisville is led by guard El Ellis who leads the Cardinals averaging 16.8 points per game and 4.8 assists with 2.7 rebounds per contest. No one else on Louisville is averaging in double figures. Miami won 80-53 at Louisville in December. That game was the ACC opener for both programs.

Miami should beat Louisville easily but cannot get caught looking ahead. Louisville travels to the Watsco Center before Miami has a quick turnaround and travels to North Carolina on Monday night. Playing on Saturday and Monday for the second week in a row should help prepare Miami for the NCAA Tournament.
