The Miami basketball team was the only one in the top 25 from last week that did not receive a projected top-four seed from the NCAA Tournament committee on Saturday. Those seedings are just an indication of who the top four seeds would be in each region if the brackets were released on Saturday.

Committee chair Chris Reynolds stated that Miami was one of the teams just on the outside of the Top 16 that included Creighton, Saint Mary’s and UConn. Jeff Eisenberg of Yahoo Sports named Miami as one of the biggest snubs.
