Miami basketball: ACC Tournament info, live stream, location, TV

The Miami basketball team defeated Pittsburgh 78-76 on Saturday night at the Watsco Center to earn a share of the ACC regular season title with Virginia and the number one seed in the ACC Tournament. The 68-66 Miami win over Virginia in December earned the Hurricanes the number one seed over the Cavaliers.

Miami will begin the ACC tournament at noon on Thursday versus the winner of Syracuse and Wake Forest. Syracuse and Wake Forest play in the second round of the ACC Tournament on Wednesday. If Miami wins as expected the Hurricanes will advance to the semifinals which would be at 7 PM on Friday night.

The other half of the Miami bracket will tip off the tournament with 12th-seed Georgia Tech playing 13th-seed Florida State on Tuesday. Pittsburgh plays the winner of Georgia Tech and Florida State on Wednesday at 2:30 PM following the Syracuse versus Wake Forest game which tips off at noon on ESPN.

Duke will play the winner of Florida State versus Georgia Tech and then Pittsburgh on Thursday at 2:30 PM on ESPN 2 dependent on the conclusion of the Miami basketball team versus Syracuse or Wake Forest game. Virginia and Clemson are the second and third seeds and will top the other bottom half of the bracket.

Miami defeated Syracuse 82-78 at the Watsco Center in January and Wake Forest 96-87 last month in Coral Gables. All four potential Miami opponents in the semifinal defeated Miami this season. Miami split with Duke, Florida State, Pittsburgh and Georgia Tech this season and lost its only meeting to Georgia Tech.

This is the second straight season Miami has had a double bye in the ACC Tournament. Miami defeated Boston College 71-69 in overtime on a Jordan Miller buzzer-beater in the quarterfinals last season. Top-seeded Duke eliminated fourth-seeded Miami 80-76 in the semifinals of the 2022 ACC Tournament.
