FanDuel has the Miami basketball team listed as the favorite in the ACC Tournament as second-round play begins on Wednesday. Miami is listed as the slight favorite at +320. Duke and Virginia are second at +330. Syracuse plays Wake Forest at noon on Wednesday with the winner playing Miami.
The Miami basketball team defeated Syracuse and Wake Forest earlier this season. Miami beat Syracuse 82-78 in Coral Gables in January and Wake Forest 96-87 at the Watsco Center last month. Syracuse defeated Wake Forest 72-63 in the Dome on Saturday. Now Wake Forest will be close to home on Wednesday.
Miami, Virginia, Clemson and Duke are the top four seeds in the ACC Tournament and received double byes. The Hurricanes, Cavaliers, Tigers and Blue Devils will not play until Thursday. Florida State, Louisville and Notre Dame were eliminated on Tuesday. North Carolina is intriguing as the fourth favorite.
North Carolina is on the other side of the bracket from Miami. North Carolina plays Boston College on Wednesday. The Boston College North Carolina winner plays Virginia on Thursday. Miami has a tough side of the bracket if they defeat Syracuse or Wake Forest as expected. Duke or Pittsburgh could await in the semifinals.

Duke enters the ACC Tournament as the hottest team with six straight wins. Duke and Miami split their two regular season games. Miami lost 68-66 at Duke in January and won 81-59 in Coral Gables last month. Oddly Georgia Tech is the only team Miami has not defeated on its half of the bracket.
The Yellow Jackets are the lowest remaining seed at 13th in the tournament. Miami was 3-2 this season versus the teams on its half of the bracket. Other than Duke, Miami enters the ACC Tournament as one of the hottest teams with wins in eight of its last nine games. Miami will attempt to win its second ACC Tournament title.
