After earning a share of the ACC regular season title, the Miami Hurricanes basketball team will begin its ACC Tournament run on Thursday versus Wake Forest. The Miami football team will hold its third spring practice on Thursday and the baseball team lost 6-3 at home to Jacksonville on Wednesday night.

For the first time since winning the ACC Tournament in 2013, the Miami basketball team will open the conference postseason competition as the top seed. Miami finished the regular season 25-6 and 15-5 in the ACC. The Hurricanes tied their program record for wins in the ACC with the 2013 team that went 15-3 in the ACC.

Thursday is the last practice of spring that Miami is limited to no contact. New coordinators Shannon Dawson on offense and Lance Guidry on defense spoke to reporters for the first time on Tuesday. New Miami DL coach Jason Taylor, linebacker coach Derek Nicholson or wide receivers coach Kevin Beard could speak on Thursday.

After being held hitless until the sixth inning, the Miami Hurricanes baseball team tied the game at two versus Jacksonville in the bottom of that frame. The game remained tied until Jacksonville scored four runs in the top of the ninth to surge in front. Miami scored one in the bottom of the ninth but lost 6-3.

Christopher Stock of Inside the U posted the above video of Beard working with the Miami WRs. Spring practice begins the second stint for Beard as a Miami WRs coach. Beard was a starting WR for Miami on the 2021 national championship team. Beard has a big task to get more out of the Miami WRs.
