The Miami football program is the slight leader according to On3 for four-star 2024 quarterback Air Noland who named the Hurricanes as one of the top seven schools he is considering. The On3 recruiting prediction machine projects Miami with a 21.0 percent chance of receiving a commitment from Noland.

Alabama is second with a 12.4 percent chance for a commitment from Noland. Noland is ranked as the 111th prospect, 10th QB and 20th in Georgia out of Fairburn Langston Hughes in the Class of 2024. Kicker Abram Murray is the only 2024 Miami football commit. Noland has yet to take official visits.

The finalists for Noland are Alabama, Arkansas, Clemson, Miami, Ohio State, Oregon and Texas A&M. Oregon is the only one of the seven finalists for Noland who have not received an unofficial visit yet. Noland has visited Miami twice and will return March 23-24 per multiple sources. Noland is also visiting Ohio State March 31.

Steve Wiltfong of 247 Sports spoke to Noland earlier this month. New Miami offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson previously established a relationship with Noland when he held the same position at Houston. Noland would be a cornerstone commit in the 2024 Miami recruiting class.

"“Miami Coach Cristobal, he’s very straight forward with me…He loves my personality, loves everything about me. He thinks I’m a program changer and he communicates with me on a day-to-day basis and also the new hire they got Coach Dawson he recruited me real heavy at the University of Houston. That was a great hire for them. Of course the institution they have and the great legacy coach Cristobal has.”"

In three seasons for Langston Hughes Noland has thrown for 8,024 yards, completed 67.8 percent of his passes, with 104 touchdowns and 16 interceptions while running for 233 yards and five TDs. At 6-2, 190 pounds Noland has good size in the pocket and the ability to run but its not his main focus.

The left-handed Noland was compared to Washington QB Michael Penix Jr. who is also left-handed by Andrew Ivins of 247 Sports. Noland is one of 23 QBs Miami has offered in the 2024 class. Twelve of the 23 offers have committed to other programs. Noland is the only 2024 QB warm on Miami per 247 Sports.
