Jim Larranaga continued a whirlwind couple of days after leading the Miami Hurricanes basketball team to its first Final Four on Saturday. Larranaga appeared on the Joe Rose Show on WQAM on Tuesday. Head football coach Mario Cristobal spoke to reporters after practice on Tuesday. Three players spoke after football practice.

Larrananga recapped the amazing Miami Hurricanes run to the Final Four, previewed the UConn game and generally spoke about his team and basketball to Rose. It was the second appearance in less than 12 hours on WQAM for Larranaga after he appeared on Hurricane Hotline on Monday.

Cristobal discussed the scrimmage Miami held on Saturday, spoke extensively on edge rusher Akheem Mesidor and running back Henry Parrish and discussed the coaching clinic the Hurricanes hosted over the weekend. Cristobal also praised close to a couple of dozen players for their performances in the scrimmage.

Florida International and the Miami Hurricanes baseball team played an epic game at Mark Light Field on Tuesday. Miami rallied with a Zach Levenson walk-off three-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning for a 6-5 victory. Miami will get ready to host Florida State in a three-game series this weekend.

Michelle Kaufman of the Miami Herald spoke to Hurricanes legend Darius Rice about his 43-point game and winner at the buzzer over Connecticut in 2003. Rice reminisced that the Miami-UConn game on Saturday is like the Hurricanes era in the Big East. After leaving for the AAC, UConn is back in the Big East.

David Cobb of CBS Sports examined the rosters of each of the Final Four teams and their recruiting. Surprisingly the highest-rated player in the Miami roster is reserve guard Harlond Beverly who was the 54th-ranked player in the 2019 class. ACC Player of the Year Isaiah Wong was the 88th-ranked player in 2019.
