Ryan Wright the Rivals.com National Recruiting Analyst named the Miami football program as one of “Rivals Camp Series Miami: Five programs that should be pleased.” Per Wright, the Rivals Camp Series stop in Fort Lauderdale last weekend was the second stop that allowed regional prospects to compete.

The Miami football program is waiting patiently for its first commitment from a position player in the 2024 class. Kicker Abram Murray is currently the only 2024 commitment to Miami. The Hurricanes are leading for four-star quarterback Air Noland who has a commitment announcement scheduled for April 9.

True to the blueprint that Mario Cristobal wants to use to build his roster all of the players Wright highlighted that participated in the Rivals Series Miami that are considering the Hurricanes are defensive and offensive linemen except for running back Stacy Gage. Miami will try to add to its elite 2023 offensive line class.

Miami is not leading for any of the players Wright discusses in the Rivals Future Cast. Gage who attends St. Thomas Aquinas, strongside defensive end Dinellson Exume and defensive tackle Tarrell Greene from Chaminde-Madonna are the only players from South Florida that Wright profiled from the Rivals Camp Series Miami.

"MIAMI“David Stone highlights the list for Miami as the Hurricanes got the five-star IMG prospect on campus Saturday and he plans to return this weekend. The Canes are also impressing Eddy Pierre-Louis, who visited the program on Saturday. Dinellson Exume and Tarrell Greene both report heavy contact with Miami’s coaching staff.Hurricane fans should also track the recruitment of Jimothy Lewis in the coming months, especially because of the IMG connection to South Florida. Stacy Gage is coming off of a recent visit to Miami. That relationship is one to watch with Gage now at St. Thomas Aquinas.Oklahoma, Ohio State, Florida and Colorado are in line to officially host Gage; might Miami be one of his five?”"

As Wright mentions, Miami has quickly built a pipeline to IMG Academy in Bradenton since Mario Cristobal was hired in December 2021. Miami signed offensive tackle Francis Mauigoa, edge rusher Jayden Wayne, tight end Riley Williams and guard Antonio Tripp in the Class of 2023 from IMG Academy.

Expect quarterback and wide receiver to be key areas of focus for the Miami football program among skill position players. Miami urgently needs more playmakers on its roster. Miami signed two four-star WRs in its 2023 class but neither plays outside. Four-star running back Mark Fletcher is a player to watch in 2023.
