Florida State Spring Showcase April 15 4 PM

Can Florida State continue its success with transfers? Florida State has has a lot of success from its transfers under Mike Norvell. That is expected to continue with  Cornerback Fentrell Cypress, defensive lineman Braden Fiske, and tight ends Jaheim Bell and Kyle Morlock. FSU needs the transfers elite in 2023.

Louisville Spring Game April 21 7 PM

How will QB Jack Plummer perform under new head coach Jeff Brohm? Plummer transferred to Louisville from California to play under Brohm. Louisville hired Brohm from Purdue to return to his alma mater. Plummer transferred to Cal from Purdue where he played three seasons under Brohm.

Miami (Ohio) Spring Game April 22 TBA

Can the Redhawks improve offensively? Miami was 113th nationally in 2022 averaging 20.2 PPG. Tight ends coach Patrick Welsh was promoted to offensive coordinator to try and help fix the Redhawks’ offense. Miami was 122nd averaging 305.6 total yards per game. Miami plays some anemic offenses early in 2023.

How will B-C move on after Ed Reed’s hiring and firing? Miami football legend Ed Reed was hired by B-C during the offseason and subsequently fired after making disparaging remarks about their facilities. B-C alum Raymond Woodie Jr. was hired to replace Reed. Woodie Jr. was previously an assistant at Floria Atlantic.
