Following the conclusion of the 2023 NFL Draft on Saturday where the Miami Hurricanes football team ranked this year and all-time was analyzed by different media outlets. Sunday marked the end of the spring transfer portal window. Several media outlets have analyzed the fit for various transfers with Miami.

Chip Patterson of CBS Sports examined the 2023 NFL Draft Picks by College Team…” As part of his article, Patterson listed all of the players drafted from every FBS school through Division II. Miami was fourth in the ACC with three players drafted. Clemson and Pittsburgh tied for the ACC lead with both having six draftees.

Sports Illustrated NFL reporter Albert Breer tweeted on Saturday night at the conclusion of the draft that Miami is fifth all-time with 67 first-round NFL Draft Picks. Ohio State has 90 first-round picks followed by USC with 85, Alabama with 78 and Notre Dame with 70. Alabama has had a first-round pick 15 years in a row.

Miami has signed six transfers to the 2023 roster.

Pro Football Focus posted its Way-Too-Early 2024 NFL Mock Draft.”  Miami DT Leonard Taylor is projected to be drafted by the Houston Texans 17th overall in the first round and safety Kamren Kinchens is predicted to be taken 27th overall by the Green Bay Packers. Miami safety James Williams is another potential first-round pick.
