Robbie Weinstein of 247 Sports named the Miami Hurricanes football program one of his winners in the spring transfer portal. The Miami baseball team looks to extend its hot streak after wins in 10 of their last 13 games and six of their last seven when they host FIU on Wednesday night. Miami could be close on a five-star recruit.

The Miami Hurricanes football program added cornerbacks Jaden Davis from Oklahoma and Jadais Richard from Vanderbilt and running back Ajay Allen from Nebraska since the spring transfer portal window closed on April 30. Weinstein expects Davis and Richard to be immediate contributors and Allen to add depth.

The Miami baseball continues its homestand before traveling to Pittsburgh this weekend. FIU is having a brutal season with an 18-29 overall record, 5-19 in Conference USA and 2-14 on the road. Miami is battling to host an NCAA Tournament regional. The Hurricanes are 15th in the RPI through Monday’s game.

Brian Smith of AllHurricanes.Com examined what Miami needs in the transfer portal at each position. The Hurricanes are still active in the portal after adding Allen, Davis and Richard since April 30. Mario Cristobal stated in December that defensive tackle and outside wide receiver were the biggest positions of need.

Carter Bahns of 247 Sports examined if the Miami football team can exceed the 2023 win total set for the Hurricanes at 7.5. Miami always seems to get the benefit of the doubt for the media entering the season. After finishing 5-7 in 2022 and with changes throughout the roster and staff Miami has many questions entering 2023.

Adam Gorney of Rivals.Com stated on Tuesday he believes Miami is leading for five-star DT Justin Scott. Cristobal has made the line of scrimmage a priority in recruiting and through the transfer portal since he was hired in December 2021. Gorney stated the Miami staff did a phenomenal job during Scott’s visit.
