WR. Indianapolis Colts. Reggie Wayne. 30. player. 46.

No. 12 Miami football NFL career in league history: Reggie Wayne

2001 NFL Draft: Round 1, Pick 30

Indianapolis Colts, 2001–2014
New England Patriots, 2015 (didn’t make the team)

Reggie Wayne was the 1A to Marvin Harrison’s No. 1 with the Indianapolis Colts during its most prosperous period in franchise history, otherwise known as the Payton Manning era. The 3x All-Pro Wayne was a regular 1,000+ receiving yard threat who eclipsed that mark for seven straight seasons from 2004-2010.

What perhaps solidified Wayne’s standing in NFL history was his ability to reach that benchmark during Indianapolis’ first season without Manning and with Andrew Luck under center. Luck was by no means a bust, but history will hardly look back at his career as one of the greatest of his eras due to injuries.

Wayne won a Super Bowl with the Colts, going for 61 receiving yards and a touchdown during Indianapolis’ lone 21st-century championship run. He led the league in receiving yards in 2007 and is the all-time leader in games played for the Colts franchise.
