Miami baseball ACC Tournament games Thursday and Friday
The Miami baseball team will play North Carolina State at 7 PM Thursday night and Duke on Friday at 3 PM ET with both games at Durham (North Carolina) Bulls Athletic Park in the ACC Tournament. Miami is the fourth seed in the ACC Tournament, Duke is seeded fifth and North Carolina State is the ninth seed in Pool D.
The winner of Pool D will play the victor in Pool A. Pool A has top seed and national number one Wake Forest, eighth seed Notre Dame and twelfth seed Pittsburgh. Miami won two out of three from both Duke and North Carolina State this season. Duke and NC State will be close to home for the ACC tournament.
Miami will be the last team to make their 2023 ACC Tournament debut. NC State will play Duke at 7 PM on Tuesday to commence Pool D. The winner of Pool D will advance to the Semifinals on Saturday at 1 PM ET. If Duke or Miami win Pool D they would have an extremely quick turnaround to the Semifinals on Saturday.
North Carolina State beat Miami 9-6 in the 2022 ACC Tournament to win Pool C as the 10th seed. Miami was three seed in the 2022 ACC Tournament. Miami could get another chance versus Wake Forest. The Demon Deacons swept the Hurricanes this season and defeated Miami 16-3 in the 2022 ACC Tournament.

Miami finished the regular season 37-18 and was 18-12 in the ACC. Virginia won the Coastal with a 44-11 overall record and 19-11 in the ACC one game ahead of Miami. The Cavaliers are the second seed in the ACC Tournament and head Pool B. Clemson is the third seed in the ACC Tournament and will lead Pool C.
The Miami baseball team was outscored 23-21 in the three games against North Carolina State. NC State defeated Miami 14-4 in the series finale in March to outscore the Hurricanes in the series. Miami earned the four seed in the ACC Tournament by defeating Duke two out of three in Coral Gables this weekend.

Miami outscored Duke 23-14 in the three games. The Hurricanes have proven to be an elite offensive team versus Duke and NC State. Miami is tied for 10th nationally with 106 home runs. If Miami can receive consistent pitching they should advance to the ACC Tournament semifinals.
