Miami Hurricanes News: Football commit, Dan Radakovich interview
The Miami Hurricanes football program received a commitment from 2026 cornerback Ksani Jiles on Monday. Barry Jackson and Susan Miller Degnan of the Miami Herald interviewed Miami Athletic Director Dan Radakovich with 20 questions on a variety of topics. D1Baseball.Com published its bracketology.
The commitment from Jiles is important because he attends IMG Academy. Jiles stated that his connections with head coach Mario Cristobal and recruiting staffer Dennis Smith were impactful. Jiles is currently 5’11.5 and 175 pounds. With three years before he would enroll at Miami Jiles has a lot of time to grow into his body.
Jackson and Miller-Degnan discussed where Miami stands with name, image and likeness deals, an update on the new athletic facility, the future of the ACC and where Miami is at with season ticket sales. Radkovich met with other ACC athletic directors at the conference meetings last week to discuss the mentioned issues.
D1Baseball.Com projects the Miami Hurricanes baseball team as the 11th national seed in the NCAA Tournament that begins June 2. Regional number two seed Tennessee, three-seed Kent State and fourth-seeded Wright State are the other projected teams in Coral Gables. Miami begins the ACC Tournament on Thursday.

CBS Sports named Miami offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson as one of the “2023 college football coordinators poised to emerge as head coaching candidates.” Dawson was hired by Cristobal during the 2023 off-season from Houston. Dawson has been praised for adapting offenses to his personnel.
Former Miami Hurricanes tight end Greg Olsen earned a sports Emmy for outstanding personality and on-air talent for his work as the analyst on the top NFL team for Fox Sports with play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt. Olsen will be entering his third season as an analyst in 2023.
