Miami Hurricanes News: Bats in ACC Tourney semis, FB offers JC CB

The Miami Hurricanes baseball team defeated Duke 7-6 on Friday afternoon to win Pool D in the ACC Tournament. Miami women’s basketball coach Katie Meier earned a contract extension through the 2027-28 season. Meier is the winningest basketball coach in Miami history men’s or women’s with 343 victories. Miami advanced to the Elite Eight for the first time in school history in March. That included an NCAA Tournament win at Indiana.

David Lake of Inside the U projected which Miami players could have breakout seasons and why. Lake listed quarterback Tyler Van Dyke, offensive tackle Zion Nelson, defensive tackle Leonard Taylor, defensive end Nyjalik Kelly and safety James Williams.
