Miami football biggest 2023 official visitors weekend surpassing June 9

The Miami football program will host 20 official visitors this weekend. That is the most in the 2024 recruiting cycle surpassing the 14 official visitors the weekend of June 9. Miami has 12 commitments to the 2024 class. Three prospects have committed this June. Expect several more commits in the next few weeks.

Prior to the official visitors this weekend, Miami is hosting the Legends Camp on Thursday. Legends Camp replaced Paradise Camp which was inaugurated under Mark Richt and continued through Manny Diaz. There are an extensive group of alumni speaking at legends camp and prospects that are attending.

Among the official visitors, this weekend are Miami football commits in their order of recruiting ranking are wide receiver Chance Robinson, safeties Isaiah Thomas and Dylan Day, offensive tackle Juan Minaya, quarterback Judd Anderson and kicker Abram Murray. Four visitors this weekend are committed to other programs.

Five-star Chaminade-Madonna wide receiver Jeremiah Smith is committed to Ohio State, four-star safety Jaylen Heyward is committed Georgia, three-star interior offensive lineman Joseph Ionata is committed to Alabama and three-star offensive tackle Mike Williams is committed to Florida.

The other

official visitors

this weekend are tight end Caleb Odom, WR Marquise Lightfoot, IOL Isendre Ahfua, safety Zay Mincey and Red Morgan, linebackers Dylan Williams and Chris Cole, defensive lineman Artavius Jones and Kendall Jackson and OT Zuri Madison. The prospects above are a mix of four and three-stars.

Jones who is a four-star prospect out of Blountstown, Pennsylvania is the only uncommitted prospect taking an official visit this weekend that is trending to Miami. The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine projects Miami with a 53.7 percent chance for a commitment from Jones. Central Florida is second at 35.5 percent.

Miami currently has the 26th-ranked 2024 class in the 247 Sports composite rankings. Expect the 2024 Miami class to rise with several commits expected over the next few weeks. Miami set the foundation for its 2023 class during late June and early July after official visits concluded before the dead period in recruiting.
